Only by making Cece look completely "critically ill" can you successfully scare away the man outside and cancel the date.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Here's the complete solution. Follow these 10 steps in order — each one is a concrete action you take on screen.

1. Change into patient gown: Drag the white dress (nightgown) hanging at the foot of the bed onto Cece to change her clothes.
2. Summon maid for hot water bag: Click the bell on the bedside table to summon the maid. After the maid enters, she will bring a hot water bag. Drag it to Cece's forehead to create a fever effect.
3. Pale complexion: Click the white cabinet on the wall to open it, take out the powder puff/flour inside, and apply it to Cece's face to make her look deathly pale.
4. Swollen forehead: Click the wooden club lying on the floor, drag it to Cece's head to hit it, causing a large bump on her forehead.
5. Wrap head with bandage: Click the opened cabinet again, drag the gauze/bandage roll inside to Cece's head to wrap it.
