Here's the complete solution. Follow these 8 steps in order — each one is a concrete action you take on screen.

1. Check the vintage newspaper on the marble tea table (Progress 1/8): Click the vintage English newspaper laid flat on the carved marble tea table to read the headline clue.
2. Move the silver carved handle mirror (Progress 2/8): Click the silver hand mirror next to the newspaper and drag it to the lower right to reveal the secret note underneath.
3. Lift the pillow on the classical double bed (Progress 3/8): Click and drag upward the gold-edged large pillow on the blue velvet bed to expose the old badge hidden underneath.
4. Pull open the bedside table drawer (Progress 4/8): Click the drawer handle of the solid wood bedside cabinet and slide it outward to extract a yellowed mysterious letter.
